Savanna Gardens: A Rustic Boho Wedding Venue in Sonora, California.

 

Nestled in the charming town of Sonora, California, Savanna Gardens is a wedding venue like no other. Originally built in the 1970s, this rustic property has been lovingly transformed from a humble sheep farm into a breathtaking botanical garden. My husband and I purchased the property in 2011, and since then, we have dedicated ourselves to creating a serene haven adorned with hundreds of Japanese maples and a diverse array of stunning plants.

 

Our journey with the venue began in 2018, inspired by the memory of our beloved daughter Savanna, who was born in 2010 with Hydranencephaly. Savanna's presence graced our lives with immeasurable joy, and though she passed away in 2015 due to health complications, her spirit continues to live on through Savanna Gardens. She celebrated all four of her birthdays in our barn, and the venue now stands as a testament to her memory and the love we hold for her.

 

At Savanna Gardens, we take immense pride in providing a beautiful space for couples to celebrate their love. Our venue is designed to evoke a sense of tranquility and natural beauty, making it the perfect setting for any wedding. From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, each event held here is a unique expression of love and commitment, set against the backdrop of our meticulously curated gardens.
